In 2005, The Mole went to New Orleans as a Hurricane Katrina relief volunteer, where he ended up living for over a year. During this period he recorded with New Orleans artists including DJ 0.000001, Pierre Pre$$ure, Shorty, Gemma Jones, and MC Subzero Permafrost. 2006 saw the release of the Mutamigradaptation CD on Dutch label HecticRecs (including the hugely popular break-up song "I Hate You"), a massive tour including nine countries and nearly 40 dates sharing stages with Venetian Snares, DJ Krush, and others.
The sold out CD and LP versions and the free download of mutamigradaptation all have slightly different tracks and order. The amazing artwork you are seeing here is from the vinyl version and made by Thomas (Buro Het Karakter) check his work out!
Nomadic composer/vocalist/bozo Th' Mole makes "whirled fusion" music which is scientifically designed to make you happier, stronger, and more beautiful. With a live set combining colorful costumes, ridiculous dancing, confetti cannons, and sometimes a gorilla, Th' Mole will make you rejoice and dance your pants off.
